Responsibilities

1. Successful delivery of high quality web software (requirements, design, code, documentation, etc.)
2. Roughly 80-95% hands-on coding
3. Contribute to early quality activities, including peer reviews of estimates, designs and code
4. Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches
5. Partner effectively with all team members to deliver against commitments
6. Work cross-functionally with various teams: product management, QA/QE, various product lines, or business units to drive forward results

Qualifications

1. BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
2. 2+ years experience developing back-end software applications
3. Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals and their practical application
4. Practical experience with any programing language preferably C++/Go
5. Practical knowledge of XML, XML schema and the tools/libraries of processing them.
6. Ability to implement and tune up the performance for a given algorithm.
7. An understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
8. An understanding and preferable experience with web services (REST or SOAP)
9. Knowldge about blockchain is an added advantage.

3. Mentor junior engineers and new team members
4. Act in a technical leadership capacity: apply technical expertise to challenging programming and design problems

7. Work cross-functionally with various teams: product management, QA/QE, various product lines, or business units to drive forward results

Qualifications

5. Preferred experience with Go/C++
6. Excellent understanding of different databases (SQL/NoSQL)

Responsibilities

1. Determines business needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
